Positives:
The room itself was nice to come back to in between excursions in the city.
Negatives:
From the second we moved in it was chaos. I had reached out to the property requesting that we get placed in a quieter area as my husband and I were staying here for our honeymoon. The hotel staff reached back out telling us that they were going to put us on the top floor and even upgrade our room which I was ecstatic about. We get there and receive our key only to find out that we were not on the top floor, had a regular room, and were placed on a very full hall. At this point all of our stuff was moved in (there is little to no parking here so we wanted to get all of our stuff out and then park our car across the street) and I went downstairs to ask about the parking situation and what happened with the upgrade we were promised. When I was talking to the staff I was treated horribly and even showed them the messages that had been sent from their staff (they tried to claim that the promise for an upgrade wasn’t sent from their staff and instead from a different booking agency). Once I showed them that they had promised this they apologized and put my husband and I on the “top floor with a better room” only to turn out that it wasn’t the top floor and the room was under construction! They were actively painting the inside of the room when we went up to look at it. They also let us hold onto our old key as our stuff was still in there (this becomes important). We go back downstairs because we were not going to stay in a room that was under construction and our old key suddenly wasn’t working to retrieve our bags. We’re waiting at the front desk and explain to them that the room is under construction and we can’t get into our old room. The manager finally comes out to deal with this. The couple that was waiting in line behind us decides to chime in and say how they got placed in our old room and they walked in to see all of our stuff still in there. The worker didn’t even give us 5 minutes before assigning our old room to someone else.

Horrible customer service, screamed at...
Positives:
Melonie at the front desk was very accommodating and nice. The staff was friendly. The beds were comfortable. We were a short walk from a free bus service that went to the visitors center and connected to various buses that covered the city.
Negatives:
we had a coffee pot but no coffee pods in our room and they were never replenished. we also missed having a cocktail lounge.
