Everything. When we went to the check in office the woman behind the counter was wearing a cut off shirt with stains all over it and her bra strap hanging out. She looked like she just rolled out is bed and came to work. I work in hospitality and this is not how you present the pace you work at to people who are potentially going to stay there. A clean and friendly impression is everything. The person at the welcome desk represents the face of the business and if that what they want to portray they will be lucky if anyone ever stays there.
Construction going on, the rooms were filthy. We pulled the beds apart to see before we even decide to sit on them and the sheets were brown. Was like they just remade the bed or don’t have clean sheets. There were bugs in the bathroom and the towels were gross. We had an uneasy feeling from the time we pulled in until the time we pulled out. Needless to say we left. We went back to the checkin area to let the person behind the counter know and she stated she didn’t know if we would be refunded. And i immediately stated oh we will. When a guest comes to you and tells you that you are leaving because the rooms are disgusting, you refund them and send them in their way with a smile.
I have worked in the hospitality business for over a decade. Your hotel needs some serious attention to every detail. Starting with the face that greets you!

Great location and the price was good also.
Negatives:
Staff was friendly, but the directions to my room were way off from what she told me. I pre checked in with all my info, the make model and license plate online, and still ended up having to give them that information. Now the room when I got into my room the heater was on mind you were in August I turned the a.c on and it never cooled down the room, looked like patchy work done in the room around the electrical outlets. I small bar of soap and a tiny bottle for shampoo in the bathroom. This is the perfect example of you get what you pay for do yourself a favor and spend a little bit more and go stay somewhere nicer.
