I loved that the staff were so friendly! Devin, and the gentleman he was training (on night shift) were my favorite, and by far the most friendly and helpful guest I’ve ever had while staying at a hotel, suit, or “home away from home” if you will. I live in Knoxville and anytime I want to stay in a hotel here I’ll be staying at Aloft and anytime I go on vacation outside the state of TN I’ll try to find another “Aloft” location.
I also loved the cleanliness, the pool tables, the gym, the outside heated pool and sitting area. I also thought it was so cool that they had a barbecue that Tuesday night, they had a DJ, cooked hamburgers for everyone, and you got 2 alcoholic beverages and they offered non-alcoholic beverages, and this was all at no charge to the guest.
Even if your on a business trip and you worry the noise may have to had a function going on they have ear plugs and a noise machine to use while your getting some rest.
If your staying in Knoxville, CHOOSE THIS HOTEL! You won’t regret it!
Side note: The breakfast is NOT complimentary but they have good prices and even better food!

I did like the modern look and feel to the hotel. The window was really wide so it was a nice view outside in the morning.
Negatives:
I felt really uncomfortable staying here and wish I would have stayed somewhere else. There was dog food on the floor, the sink pressure and position was very inconvenient, there is no breakfast included and the coffee machine was disgusting. More Detail: The breakfast is NOT included. There is a menu with only very few options and the cost is $$. That needs to be a larger detail when you book here. It can’t say breakfast included, then you set your alarm to wake up early and realize there is no breakfast and what is there, you have to pay extra for. There was dog food on the side of the wall in the room, the floor was dusty and dirty. It clearly showed me they didn’t vacuum or mop and that had me worried about what else in the room wasn’t clean. The sink isn’t that big of a deal but the pressure is really low and it’s positioned in a very inconvenient spot. It makes it really difficult to wash your face. The last thing is I went to make hot water in the coffee machine and it was disgusting!! That machine hasn’t been cleaned in, I didn’t know how long, but absolutely disgusting.
