Room smelled like urine. Asked for a new room. Air conditioning and refrigerator didn't work in new room. Called from desk. Everyone from maintenance to the desk clerk and the manager was rude. Maintenance told me this room wasn't for me and I should get my money back. I didn't expect luxury, just a clean room with working amenities. Got my money back and went to the excellent Sleep Inn 3 minutes away. A little more expensive but well worth the extra money. I felt very unwelcome at the super 8 and will not be back.

Stayed to rest so we...

I don't know where the mixup occurred, but we had booked and paid for a double queen room for 3 adults. When we got there the reservation was for a KING which wasn't even an option for three adults! because we had booked thru another site, the hotel would not change the reservation in any way, and told us we would forfeit our entire 3 night advance payment if we wanted to change. I went round and round with the Manager who refused to help in any way, we could not change rooms, get a cot--nothing!! We ended up buying a blow-up twin bed and only staying two miserable nights. We called and asked for a blanket, and were given a sheet!!
