La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Austin Capitol

Negatives: No hot water, shower curtain/ mats old and dirty. Rooms smelled like mildew and old dirty rugs. As a guest you have to pay for parking. Felt like we were in a horror movie with no light in hall way.

Negatives: It was not cleaned, at Christmas morning I found big bug in my bathroom. It scared me so much that I packed immediately and checked out. Still did not get refund for the last three days i have payed.

Negatives: Our first room we were given didn’t have a bathroom door and along with that the toilet wouldn’t flush unless you took the top off to manually flush it. The second room was better but definitely still not the best, the air conditioner is so loud, the walls are thin you hear every noise outside and in the rooms around you. The hair dryer didn’t work. The place just wasn’t the cleanliness, def needs a lot of work not only within the place but also outside The rooms in general are just dirty and not clean, and then half the things in the rooms don’t work. There’s stains on the floor, toothpaste left in the sinks, hair in the showers.. just gross. Now let’s talk about the “complimentary breakfast” there’s barely any choices to eat. There were no breads, bagels, etc. It was pretty much Yogurt, Pre packaged boiled eggs, pre packaged breakfast sandwiches. Cereal, oatmeal and maybe a waffle. And to top it off you have to pay $45 a night for “Valet” parking that is not valet. You park your own car.

Negatives: Parking not free, breakfast okay buy missing other varieties present in other La Quinta hotels (no fried eggs, sausages, beagles, or bread), parking was expensive, renovation underway for some parts, and AC did not work (weather was okay so did not really need it).

Negatives: Room requires a dehumidifier which was also noisy! Building clearly in need of repair with holes and plaster falling down.

Negatives: I don’t know, what’s going on, I booked online and checked in on time and pay, but next day I got emailed that my booking was cancelled, I have some bag in room , I not yet checked out, I call hotel but they said they not allowing me in the room. It not my mistake and I payed, its system problems. Luckily they not kick me out at night, if something like that happened, they gonna have problems with me because I already pay !

Negatives: Construction and cleanness

Negatives: Desperate for bathroom refit.

Negatives: There's construction which is fine, but the workers are really loud and smoke in the guest pathways, which isn't necessary. The room staff are avoidant also, they wouldnt take the dirty towels or replace them. Also the king bed is sideways for some reason so I had to sleep on an angle or my feet went off the edge, which I didn't mind but is weird and if you have a partner it would be an issue I think. Also the bath didn't have HOT water, just warm, which wasn't a big deal. The fridge temperature control was missing so my food froze.

Negatives: Very dirty and run down. Construction going on. Our room had so many bugs in it & it was disgusting to sleep with at night, then our fire alarm began beeping at 2am, 5 bugs crawled out of it. Finally asked for a room change at 3am. Luckily our next room did not have bugs in it. But it had a weird smell, no tv remote, and still not super clean. Definitely learned my lesson not to book at this hotel chain again.
