Positives:
The hotel was surprisingly lovely... Clean and well updated. During the breakfast the managers and staff were always down there making sure everything was stocked cleaned up and the manager went to literally every table to check on people and see how their stay was going. It's this very personal service that always makes the difference and I commend them for taking the time from their busy schedule to check with their customers.
Negatives:
I didn't realize they did the welcome on the television so when I went to enter my room and the TV was on I thought perhaps somebody was in there... That was a little creepy... Yep pretty cool how they have the different images with my name welcoming me. Other than that there wasn't really anything not to like it was a delightful stay...
We all know that there's definitely some things going on outside of the hotel that can be less than desirable... I appreciate it that there was always security at the hotel that looked like they were there for our safety not just to hang out and talk with her buddies which I've seen at other hotels.

A lovely comfortable stay at...
Positives:
Location, room size, parking, breakfast.
Negatives:
Beds were a little hard, I prefer Marriott and Hilton beds.
Decor was like an office and rather depressing which is such a shame as facility wise big and perfect. Felt very much like a room for a man staying for a convention. A little colour accent or friendly pictures needed to feel more like a family/leisure hotel and that advice is from my years as an interior designer.

It was a very clean, spacious, comfortable room close to everything downtown!
Negatives:
We had to pay for parking, but that is pretty much expected in any large city.

I loved the room, the staff was very pleasant.I loved the location, valet parking was very convenient, My wife and I got a chance to enjoy downtown Dallas. The Hotel is actually in walking distance to the Dallas world aquarium very happy with Homewood suites, I'll definitely recommend it to anyone.
