Sonesta is pet friendly! Pets weighing less than 80 pounds are welcome. A non-refundable pet fee will be charged to the guest’s account upon check-in based upon the length of stay -- 6 nights up to $75, 7+ nights up to $150. I wish I could give this hotel a 12 out of 10! My experience was truly exceptional. The front desk agents, Roy and Maricel, went above and beyond to make me feel comfortable. I was visiting for a work trip, and they couldn’t have been more accommodating.
I especially appreciated Maricel helping me with printing my work documents, she made it so easy and was genuinely kind about helping me. When I needed a late checkout due to work issues, they didn’t hesitation, which really made a difference.
Also the hotel was impeccably clean, from the lobby to my room, and the housekeeping team did an outstanding job throughout my stay. If you are planning to stay long term, i recommend this place. I even extended my stay for an extra week because I felt comfortable and impressed with the cleanliness and service. Honestly, I’ve stayed in some high end hotels before, and this experience was just as good, maybe even better. Can’t wait to go back this summer!

The location was super convenient, right next to the Galleria and with easy access to the Metro. Plus, they had free parking and even refunded the deposit the same day!
Negatives:
My room had a few tiny roaches on the countertop. The AC/Heater unit was a bit too loud. There were some cracking paint and unsealed gaps around the fixtures in the bathroom, and the tub really needed some slip pads. Oh, and there was no in-room ice. I had to grab a bag from the front desk. Also, the TV could use more options.

Room oddly configured so it felt very small. Sofa bed couldn’t be used it was so uncomfortable which left one of my teenagers sleeping on the sofa. Not enough chairs for 4 occupants, bathroom door wouldn’t close and bathroom very small.
