Stressful trip but stress relief...
Positives:
the room was large enough to fit our family comfortably. The breakfast was delicious. The staff was courteous and helpful.

They removed the hot tub that was there before and I had been looking forward to that since we booked this hotel.

The room and hotel appeared to be very very clean. The rooms appeared to have great sound proofing. We have a toddler that did not fair well being outside of her space.
Negatives:
One of the doors on the bathroom closet was stripped off of the hinge, if my daughter had tried opening door it would have fallen on her. When we informed management, they did sent up maintenance immediately and it was fixed very quickly. They did leave a screw on the floor, however we did pick it up.

I travel to Kilgore 1-2x a year to visit my mom and family and only stay at Staybridge as it is family friendly, clean, has great hospitality and the amazing breakfast is an added bonus. Having the option to bbq is another feature I love and have taken advantage of. Staybridge will always be my hotel of choice when visiting my family in Texas.
