Positives: The young woman checking in was lovely. So saying she was the one and only staff person on the premises.

Negatives: Was willing to pay more for a good night sleep on a long road trip but this was terrible. First with another hotel guest waited over 30 min to check in. Building is old: the only employee was needed to repair things in the fully booked facility. Once we were finally checked in, the a/c heat unit roared and felt like trying to sleep on an airport tarmac. No option to open window as the interstate is right outside. The sink drain was “frozen” closed. (No point in overburdening the one employee)

Negatives: Something that the staff can not predict… about 12:30AM the guests in the room above us got there and for about 45 minutes were shuffling around, and kept us awake until they settled down. This is a factor of the hotel construction… (I taught architecture & drafting in college for 25 years)
