The location is perfect just a mile from the entrance to Zion and within walking distance to downtown Springdale.
Negatives:
I was looking for a “rustic” place to stay. What I didn’t expect was rundown and shabby. We would equate this property to the hotel in Schitt’s Crick. If you want authentic, you got it. If you want even a medium level of acceptable, I wouldn’t recommend this property.

Not permitted to turn air unit below 70. No fan on air unit. The room was unbearably stuffy and hot . The bathroom was tiny. Parking was very difficult. Spaces very close . The hairdryer had a 12 inch core, making it unusable. And finally, the TV didnt work. Very uncomfortable room for premium prices. I didnt stick around for the "bag" breakfast.

The website and pictures need to be updated. The whole property needs attention. The pool was dirty, they don’t have continental breakfast (it’s a processed bagged breakfast) the stairs are missing tiles, the ac in the room doesn’t go below 70°, the ice machine was broken, the parking lot is very small, their was lipstick on one of the blankets, there is no do not disturb sign.

We over paid for what...
Positives:
Good beds, a perfect location for Zion, really decently sized pool. Contrary to some other ratings, we considered it to be clean. Room was nice with a gorgeous view to the mountains. Parking for free until 6 pm next day was great. Shuttle almost in front. Good pizza/pasta place (even for European expectations) next door.
Negatives:
Nothing to complain about (except maybe the burger croissant for breakfast, which came with good musli joghurt and an apple). Thanks for the stay!

The property was clean and comfortable. We loved the location and how easy it was to walk to most places we wanted to get to from the lodge.
Negatives:
The hot tub was not open so that was a bit of a bummer but certainly not a deal breaker for us.
