Negatives: Trash under desk. Not clean. Mattress horrible

Negatives: While the room looked clean, in fact, the rug was dirty and there were bugs. Although the room was non-smoking, when we went inside it smelled like smoke around the doorway. The area was also questionable and we did not feel safe returning to our room in the dark.

Negatives: The front desk should be more courteous when providing customer service and answering inquiries.

Negatives: Gross. Gross is very nicely put. The drawers were NOT emptied so we had to throw away a stranger's underwear and personal items, the shower curtain had blood splatter, the original refrigerator did not work and was full of mold, laundry is coin only and semi outdoors and did not actually wash clothes, housekeeping didnt come by but told the manager we refused to let them in... Unsafe, the doors to the stairwells are OPEN in an area that often has tweakers scurrying around, and when we asked for an extra room key from a receptionist we hadn't seen yet (different shift from check in) they did not verify our stay and gave us someone else's room key. They DID have the pool open, but it had no steps, just ladders, so we didn't feel safe having our small children in (the peeling paint didn't help). Staff mostly came across irritable, unhappy to be there, and one housekeeper mentioned to another they "couldn't wait to get high later." Twice.
