Hampton Inn By Hilton and Suites at Wisconsin Dells Lake Delton WI

Negatives: WE asked for a table to use in our room so we could play cards and games, and they told us they had none.

Negatives: When we arrived, the A/C was on and was noisier than other hotel rooms we've stayed in. Fortunately, the weather was such that we didn't need heat or A/C, so we slept in a nice quiet room.

Negatives: The employee that checked us in checked us in to a room the was NOT cleaned. Garbage was still in the baskets, bed not made, dirty towels on the floor in the bathroom. I then called front desk and advised him that the room he gave us was NOT cleaned and he advised me to come back down to the lobby as this was a minor mistake. THIS IS NOT A MINOR MISTAKE!!! It’s terrible service period.So when I took all of our stuff back down to the lobby to get a new room assigned he just seemed like he didn’t care and wasn’t his problem when he gave me the new key cards. So now we get back in the elevator, go to our floor, find our room and BOTH of my keycards did NOT work. So, now I have to go back down to the lobby and get the key cards to let us in the room. Finally, after being there for almost a half hour we are now finally in our room. The room was nice and spacious BUT, the faucet in our bathroom was very loose to the fact you could turn the whole faucet around, the shampoo bottle was broken off the wall, the shower gel bottle was empty the hangs in the shower, and the shower was dirty with spots on the shower floor and the floor was not very clean at all. It was actually kind of gross. These issues should be taken very seriously because I use to travel a lot for work and the first thing I would check for would be Hampton inn and suites hotel or just Hamptons period. This stay was not a wonderful stay at all and very disappointed because it was me and my husbands 10 year wedding anniversary and I surprised him with a overnight stay and dinner to the Ishnala Supper Club and it did not go as planned due to the time we had to spend wasted for check in. I am just actually very sad and disappointed in this property.

Negatives: Pillows were not good. Kids and adults all made a comment about how bad the pillows were.

Negatives: The mattresses are very uncomfortable. They sag terribly in the middle and are lumpy in other areas. Cannot get a good nights sleep on them. Have stayed in multiple rooms at this location with the same exact problem every time.

Negatives: I did not like the barn style sliding door to the bathroom. Doesn’t allow for much privacy if you’re rooming with others as the door doesn’t lock and doesn’t provide much sound barrier when someone is going to the bathroom. The king bed was not comfortable for me, mattress was too stiff for my liking.
