The offer stated payment on arrival. I advised the hotel that we would be arriving between 9pm and 10pm which we did. On arrival I found that the hotel had sold our rooms. They had tried to take credit card payment before my arrival. This required verification. However because I was on an international flight this could not be done. The manager took the decision to let my rooms go despite the terms and my instructions. The terms also permitted the hotel to take payment if I was a no show. Once at the hotel the manager spent more time justifying his decision. Only when we had located other room after spending over £50 on phone calls did he assist.

Perfectly fine for an overnight...
Positives:
We appreciated the prompt and courteous service of the shuttle driver and the warm welcome when we checked in. The check in was quick and included treats which was a lovely touch. The breakfast was good, on time and when our shuttle arrived the desk clerk announced it so we were sure to catch it.
Negatives:
We liked everything. Perhaps a night light in the bathroom (often found on the hair dryer holder) would be nice.
