I was familiar with this hotel under its previous ownership, and always liked it, but the new owners have done a beautiful job refreshing the common areas and completely redecorating the rooms. They are now well-appointed, quite, and very attractive.

Beautiful Hotel, Wonderful Staff, Excellent Location!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Beacon Grand, they had our room ready early and allowed us to check in which was amazing. The bed was very comfortable, and the blackout curtains made our morning so much more enjoyable.
And there are several bars and restaurants within walking distance, perfect for our group!
Negatives:
the King room was on the small side, but we read that in other reviews. Maybe we will get a double queen next time just for the extra space.
