Upon arrival we realized that renovations were being done. We were told it would be 20 minutes for our room to be ready. That turned into a hour. After a hour we were told “we don’t know when the room will be ready”. I cancelled the reservation and have yet to receive a refund. This is going on over a week now.

Everything they would not let me check in 1 hour early.
They were rude and there were about 4 cars in the whole parking lot. And they could not put me in a room until 3:00. They put me in a room where the whole floor was under construction, loud and noisy. I asked the from desk man to have someone clean out room and he basically through a piece of paper at me and told me to write my name and room number and the reason he didn’t even give me a pen and I had to dig to try to find one out of my purse. No one ever came to clean my room the second day I had to chase them down for towels and toilet paper because only one roll was in the room. And then I had to chase them down again because they did not go to my room to clean it to get more towels. Then I asked them to give me towels the last day I was there, and they gave me the bedsheets and the pillow covers and towels. I was supposed to make the bed. I go to this hotel each year and this was by far the worst I’ve ever.
