The room was clean, and the breakfast was amazing. Love the pancake maker! The lady that checked me in was very pleasant.

After arriving in New Orleans, I contacted the hotel to see when the shuttle would be arriving. I was informed the shuttle would arrive in about 15 to 20 minutes. I went to the hotel shuttle pick up area. The shuttle to the hotel did not have the appropriate tag to pick me up in the arrival area. After sweating in the hot and humid area for about 15 minutes, the driver called to advise I needed to get picked up in the departures near the Alliance ticketing door. Once picked up, the driver had loose money around the cup area, making me feel like I needed to leave a tip. The driver asked where my bags were, and I informed him that I was just staying one night. Later, he asked if I wanted to stop off at a gas station to pick up something because there was nothing at the hotel. I informed him I did not need to stop. Once I arrived at the hotel, I received a welcoming bag with 2 bottles of water and a delicious bag of chips. It was shocked after hearing the driver say nothing was available. Again, I feel like the driver was just trying to get a tip. I do not tip if expected.
After enjoying an amazing breakfast, I departed the hotel via the shuttle. The driver was very nice, but he flew through a red light, and he had plenty of time to stop. The rest of the drive was perfect, but initially, I was a little nervous.
